What to Expect When You Visit

Walking into a new building and meeting people you don’t know can be very intimidating. At one point, each person who is now a part of Riverside had that Sunday of high anxiety. We get it. Here’s what you should know…

Parking

Our main entrance is located at the rear of our building where you’ll find most of our parking. We also have guest parking at the front of our building as well as handicap at both front and rear entrances.

Greeters

We know visiting a new church can be intimidating, that’s why we have a greeting team who would love to welcome you at the door and show you to our welcome center. Here we can answer any questions you might have. We don’t always recognize the first-time visitors because we have many people who are still fairly new, so feel free to say, “This is my first time” and we’ll be happy to help!

Dress

We care about YOU, not what you’re wearing! We want you to feel welcome just as you are! Our dress code is simple: wear something.

Food and Drink

Grab a hot cup of free coffee from our kitchen and sit wherever you’d like. Coffee is allowed in the auditorium so make yourself at home!

Kid-Friendly

We strive to provide a safe environment for kids and families. If you bring your kids, you’ll check them in and out each Sunday at our Check-In Desk located in the lobby using a special labeling system. Our security team will monitor the halls during the service. Babies and toddlers are cared for by loving volunteers. There is a preschool room and Kids’ Church for grades one through five. All of our kids ministry volunteers must pass background checks and have a heart for kids and families.

Practical Teaching

Our teaching is centered on the person of Jesus, the message of God’s grace, and inspired from the Bible. We believe in teaching practically out of God’s Word and allowing the Holy Spirit to speak through our pastoral team. We don’t just want to give you information, but teach for transformation that will equip you to live a life empowered for Jesus!

Worship

We were created to glorify God and live with passion, freedom, and authenticity. We believe this happens as we worship God in spirit and truth. Our worship team seeks to lead our people in loving God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength through the creative gifts God has given his church.
